Until recently Emma was a lifelong resident of Glades County, Florida, residing on the Brighton Seminole Indian Reservation. Recently, Emma and her husband Travis became residents of Okeechobee county. She is a member of the Seminole Tribe of Florida and has spent the past 23 years working for their organization.

She graduated from Okeechobee High School and continued on to receive a Bachelor’s Degree from Florida Atlantic University and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Ashford University.
